Behind the company’s success are the two cofounders, inventors, entrepreneurs and old friends, Bastien Duclaux and Cédric Anès. Together they had the vision of a company using proprietary automatic indexing and multilingual information processing technologies to expand across the world four times quicker than its competitors.
Today, their vision has become reality: Twenga now runs sites in 15 countries, including the United States, Brazil, Australia and China.
Drawing on dual experiences as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and strategy consultant, Twenga CEO Bastien Duclaux is leading the company in technological advancements, marketing and commercial innovation. This has enabled Twenga to attract 40 million consumers, who can find the best deal from over 280 million offerings and over 130,000 online stores quickly and easily.
“I’m delighted to accept this award on behalf of our employees, investors, customers and partners. Twenga’s achievements have exceeded my hopes as an entrepreneur. I’m very confident in the future of e-commerce and our ability to seize the opportunities that it will present,” says Bastien Duclaux, CEO Twenga.
