Enterprise Product Management application achieves product recertification
February 28, 2012 – London, UK: – Tribold, the world’s leading provider of Enterprise Product Management (EPM) software specifically developed for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), has successfully completed a TM Forum’s Frameworx Product Conformance Certification assessment of Tribold EPM™ v5.1. This latest assessment addressed TM Forum’s Information Framework version 9.5. Previously, Tribold certified its Enterprise Product Management product against Business Process Framework version 8.0 and Information Framework version 8.0.
Tribold’s recertification continues to recognize the degree to which its Enterprise Product Management (EPM) solution complies with the TM Forum’s Information Framework model, and therefore the ease with which Tribold EPM™ can be integrated into CSP’s technical architectures, delivering lower cost implementation, reduced integration effort and alignment to a strategic data model.
TM Forum’s Information Framework (SID) provides a comprehensive, industry agreed definition for information that flows through the enterprise and between service providers and their business partners. Supported by off-the-shelf tools, the Information Framework provides a common information model, reducing complexity and allowing for the definition of standardized integration points.
Catherine Michel, Tribold Founder and CTO, commented: “Naturally we are delighted that Tribold has again been awarded TM Forum Information Framework conformance certification 3 years on from first achieving the Conformance Mark. We’re focused on delivering rapid returns and business benefits to our customers, and adhering to the Information Framework can only assist in this aim.”
TM Forum’s Frameworx is a comprehensive suite of standards that enable a service provider’s business to run with maximum agility, simplicity, and efficiency. Frameworx provides the blueprint for effective operations, enabling service providers to assess and improve business performance by using a proven, service-oriented approach to operations and integration.
Frameworx Product and Solution Conformance Assessments enable suppliers and service providers to verify a product or solution’s conformance to the Frameworx Business Process and Information models. Through an independent and thorough analysis of a supplier’s self-assessment, the Forum scores adherence to each model on a sliding scale and publishes a report detailing the product or solution’s level of conformance.
George Greenlee, TM Forum Senior Vice President of Product Management, added: “We congratulate Tribold for both their successful Information Framework recertification and for using the Frameworx suite of standards to deliver predictability, speed implementation, and reduce risk in deployments at many CSPs over the past three years.”
