Master class on effective training in challenging, sensitive and complex situations
Pleasanton, CA and London, UK – Tuesday 18th June 2013– Toolwire, a global leader in Experiential Learning* solutions, today announced that Sarah Frame, EMEA Director at Toolwire will present at the Innovative Learning conference, on Tuesday 2 July 2013 at the Central Hall Westminster, London.
The presentation entitled, ‘Experience matters – effective training in challenging, sensitive and complex situations’ will take place at 11.00am -11.45am on Tuesday 2nd July 2013. The discussion will help HR, L&D professionals and senior managers to understand how immersive learning will support learners to apply new skills and knowledge in challenging and sensitive areas.
The session will also include a powerful video case study by Dementia Alliance who will talk about their own experience, the development process they went through with Toolwire and how the training content is being used nationwide to help meet the challenge of delivering excellent care and support to people with dementia. Additional case studies will be provided to demonstrate how learners can align ‘emotional’ behaviour to challenging everyday situations, and how Experiential Learning can help corporate training environments too.
Sarah Frame, EMEA Director at Toolwire, comments, “Toolwire’s Experiential Learning solutions are powerful tools across a broad range of subjects such as Business, Health and Social Care, Legal, and Call Centre Training. In addition, these immersive experiences are helping learners to gain practical skills in an authentic and safe virtual environment, which provides both automated and managerial feedback.”
Frame adds, “Experience is the most critical part of the learning process. However replicating experience in complex work environments such as safeguarding children, vulnerable adults, or with patients with Dysphagia is not the same as delivering eLearning content on how to use a new software package. Our presentation will be informative and packed with tips for building online experiences in any type of complex working environment.”
