Charter UK, a provider of enterprise complaint and feedback management software, is to hold its next technology briefing, entitled “Implementing new FSA complaint handling rules: ensuring compliance and increasing efficiency”, in London on the 2nd and 9th August, and again on 6th and 27th September. The event will help the Heads of IT working within the financial services sector – as well as those responsible for Complaints, Compliance, Customer Services and Operations – to prepare for the change from a ‘two stage’ to a ‘one stage’ complaints process in line with new FSA regulations.
The two-hour seminars will offer an in-depth look at the true scale and cost of the IT challenges associated with this change. In addition, experts from Charter UK will identify the areas that pose the greatest risk to UK financial services companies in this area, and will also demonstrate how specialist complaints management software can help to deliver efficiency gains of up to 50%.
Paul Clark, Charter UK’s Chief Executive, comments:
“The need to comply with new FSA complaint handling rules is clearly going to present significant IT challenges for many firms. For example, any organisations that are currently using multiple, disparate systems to service a two-stage complaints process can expect to face serious problems, and also risk incurring substantial penalties for non-compliance. We have therefore launched this new series of technology briefings in order to help financial services organisations understand how to prepare for, implement and manage these changes most effectively.”
With the clock now ticking to meet the July 2012 deadline, Charter UK is currently working with the UK’s leading financial services firms to replace outdated and inefficient technologies with a compliant approach to managing complaints across all their business operations.
All of Charter UK’s technology briefings will be held at the Royal Exchange in London from 9am-11am and will include brunch. Delegates who wish to attend one of the briefings can register via the Events page of the Charter UK web site at
