Triometric provides monitored load tests in manageable stages to resolve any shortcomings before implementation
Egham, Surrey – 12 April 2011 – The recent release of Oracle Hyperion v11 requires in-depth stress testing in order to mitigate unnecessary risk, according to application performance consultants at Triometric. A significant upgrade, the latest version of Hyperion could leave organisations exposed to financial reporting delays and increased costs if it has not been thoroughly tested.
In order to ensure a successful implementation, Triometric is offering its stress testing solution with zero server footprint, zero impact on the application and specific Hyperion application analysis. Testers are able to quickly and realistically simulate users and analyse application and infrastructure behaviour to ensure a successful roll out.
“The latest version of Hyperion is actually a significant upgrade which requires appropriate stress testing before implementation,” said Cecil Wilson, Enterprise Business Manager at Triometric. “It is essential that any issues are identified and resolved before going live to meet the expectations of stakeholders and users of the system.
Organisations such as Old Mutual Group and Invensys have already used Triometric to stress test their network and infrastructure to ensure sufficient provision to accommodate the new Hyperion systems. The resulting insight enhanced their ability to diagnose and accelerate fault fix rates thereby maintaining project confidence and delivery assurance.
Combining Triometric’s approach to stress testing with Enterprise Analyzer, Triometric’s performance monitoring solution, means that both simulated loads and real user activity can be equally tracked in great detail – down to individual user request level. Now, Hyperion customers can work with the Triometric’s Hyperion specific technology and expertise from initial deployment, load testing right through to application rollout validation and beyond as a single seamless process.
Wilson continued, “Stress testing this upgrade is essential to ensure a successful go live with no surprises. We are working alongside Oracle Hyperion customers and partners, whether they are upgrading or implementing new, to help ensure the investment is protected and v11 benefits are realised from day one.”
Ensuring the latest version of Hyperion is tested effectively will help to resolve any shortcomings early in the game thereby optimising system performance to ultimately increase employee productivity and avoid reporting problems.
