London, 13th October 2011 - Charity Technology Trust (CTT) has today announced that SlideRocket, the provider of online presentation software once described as “PowerPoint on steroids,” has joined CTT’s technology donation programme, CTXchange. Charities and not-for-profit organisations will be able to access the software as a CTXchange donation.

SlideRocket is a web-based service for creating, managing and sharing online multimedia presentations. It offers customers the ability to create better slideshows more quickly from within any browser, or to import them from existing PowerPoint slide decks or Google Docs presentations. Presentations are stored on SlideRocket’s secure servers and can be accessed from any device that is connected to the internet. Presentations are easy to share without the need for bulky email attachments. As it is cloud-based, SlideRocket avoids version control headaches. It also keeps track of how many times a presentation is viewed and provides analytics tools to measure its effectiveness.
