The SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals) has confirmed the shortlist for its prestigious 2013 Awards for Technological Innovation. The winners will be announced at its annual Gala Dinner on Saturday 23rd March 2013 at Drapers’ Hall, London.
The awards, open to the entire broadband industry, are for technological innovation in the broadband arena and may be for a product, system or concept. The item nominated must have been introduced into the marketplace between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2012. The shortlisted companies/products in the three separate award categories are:-

‘Best CPE solution’ shortlist

The best overall submission will receive the SCTE 2013 Technological Innovation of the Year Award. Last year’s winner of the best overall submission was ARRIS for its Media Services Platform.
Founded in 1945, the SCTE is a Learned Society and non-profit making organisation whose aim is to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry. The Society particularly concerns itself with the training and career advancement of technical professionals in the field.
