Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Enhances In-Room Guest Experience With Quadriga’s Sensiq Portal

As part of a multi-million pound refurbishment project, The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh has committed to Quadriga’s new guest communications portal, Sensiq, as it repositions the hotel for the next decade.

The Sensiq portal will enable the hotel to more effectively communicate with guests and encourage them to experience more hotel facilities and services and in doing so increase revenues, through promotion of its restaurant, spa and loyalty scheme.  Guests will benefit from fast and easy access to a huge range of information and entertainment, selected specifically to meet their needs.  In keeping with the hotel’s state-of-the-art refurbishment, the portal will deliver a highly intuitive experience, delivered through a modern HD TV screen with a contemporary look and feel.

JP Kavanagh, general manager of the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, comments: “As consumers at home, we are all used to applying the latest technology to swiftly access selected information and entertainment to meet our needs. We wanted to be able to provide a similar experience inside the hotel room, and the logical solution is to use the TV as a gateway. Quadriga’s Sensiq not only allows us to deliver a differentiated and superior guest experience, it will enhance the way we communicate with our guests and open up potential new sales opportunities.”

Installation of the Sensiq portal will commence during the summer.
