Event features keynote presentations on broadband operations and strategy from government officials and key Balkan cable operators
Zagreb in Croatia is to be the location of the SCTETM (Society for Broadband Professionals) 2013 Balkan Broadband conference and exhibition on 3 October 2013. The event will take place at the Westin Zagreb and will include a morning conference with Keynote presentations from government officials and key Balkan cable operators on broadband operations and strategy. Supported by two key regional associations, NetCro (the Croatian Network Association) and SEEBC (South-East Europe Broadband Council), the event is free to attend and there are still attractive sponsorship and booth packages available.
The SCTE’s fifth Balkan Broadband Conference will offer top-level Keynote speakers and exhibition floors where investors, operators, technicians and installers ‘Meet & Greet’ the international exhibitors. Last year’s Balkan Broadband conference and exhibition in Belgrade in Serbia attracted 400 visitors and 30 exhibitors. SCTETM has a strong membership in the Balkans and has already held conferences and exhibitions in Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia as well as technical lecture meetings in Albania.

SCTETM training courses in the Balkans have netted the Society many new members and a reputation as a leading broadband trainer in the region.
