First Snapdragon MDP Features 1GHz MSM8655 Chipset, Available in Q4 of 2010
Qualcomm has been showcasing its Snapdragon™ Mobile Development Platform (MDP), designed to help content developers and publishers maximize the performance of applications on Snapdragon chipsets, at the Company's second annual Innovation Qualcomm event. The first Snapdragon MDP is based on the 1GHz MSM8655™ chipset and features:
- Sleek smartphone form-factor
- Support for either Android or Brew Mobile Platform™
- 3.8" WVGA multi-touch capacitive touch screen display
- Adreno™ 205 graphics processing unit (GPU)
- Dual cameras including 12-megapixel main camera
- Embedded accelerometer and gyroscope
- 16mm stereo loudspeakers and 512 MB of RAM
