NEWS FACTS
Oracle UK’s Alliances and Channels organisation won the ‘Software Vendor of the Year’ award at MicroScope magazine’s fourth annual ACE Award ceremony in London (26th May).
Oracle’s focus on partner enablement and success with industry-leading partner initiatives, including the newly launched Oracle PartnerNetwork (
OPN) Specialised, saw the company outstrip category finalists including Microsoft and Symantec for the software vendor of the year title, for the second year in a row.
OPN Specialised enables more than 22,000 global partners to more effectively differentiate their offerings and be recognised by customers for their in-depth Oracle technology and services expertise.
The awards promote excellence and recognise organisations in the channel that have performed above expectation in their area of expertise.
Now in its fourth year, the award continues to experience more entries and votes than in previous years, according to MicroScope magazine.
