Glasgow Housing Association Chooses assyst by Axios Systems to Increase Efficiencies in IT Service Provision
United Kingdom, July 29, 2010 – Axios Systems, the world’s largest independent provider of IT Service Management solutions, today announces its successful bid to implement its enterprise class assyst ITSM software at Glasgow Housing Association (GHA), a not-for-profit housing association and registered social landlord.
This announcement follows a number of high profile wins Axios has announced in recent months including Value Logistics Limited in South Africa, Kaspersky Lab in Russia and Corporate Express in Australia.
The IT team at GHA supports 60 local housing offices and over 100 concierge sites throughout the greater Glasgow area, which consists of a client base of around 2,300. It supports both internal and external customers with hardware, software or service related requests and has to provide a quick turnaround in all cases.
GHA decided to replace its existing service management tool with a solution that changed a reactive department to a proactive support framework. They planned to do this by introducing the ITIL framework and needed a tool to support all ITIL disciplines as well as improve quality, increase efficiency and streamline costs.
Nicola Graham, Head of IT Services at GHA says, “We chose assyst by Axios Systems as it is closely aligned with ITIL and enables the end-to-end management of ITIL processes. In addition, the tool has the ability to communicate and integrate with all of our other IT systems and services. This saves time since we don’t have to maintain multiple systems and increases the accuracy and control of data.”
Ailsa Symeonides, Sales & Marketing Director at Axios Systems says “The assyst solution will help GHA improve its first time fix statistics by providing meaningful management reports complete with detailed analysis. It will also help the organization resolve incidents in the agreed timescales so that it can continually provide an excellent service to its customers at reduced costs to the business.”
