LONDON & ZAGREB (1st March 2012) – B.net, Croatia’s leading cable and internet operator and SeaChange International’s (NASDAQ: SEAC) On Demand Group (ODG), the leading European video-on-demand (VOD) aggregator, announced today the launch of subscription on demand (SVOD) services.

The service builds on the successful launch of the transactional video on demand (TVOD) movie service launched by B.net in December. The new SVOD service will allow B.net consumers to view a wide range of premium TV content, including hundreds of their favourite TV shows, the best kids programming, classic movies and the very latest music videos, whenever they want, with complete control to pause, fast forward, rewind or watch programmes over again.

B.net is a leading cable and internet provider in the Croatian market offering the full range of cable TV, internet and telephone telecommunications services for private and business customers. B.net’s services reach over 265,000 Croatian households. The operator also provides services to over 300 local and international businesses.

ODG are specialists in the aggregation, content and service management of VOD services and are expert at working with operators to implement marketing campaigns aimed at maximizing TVOD buy rates and SVOD subscribers and view rates. ODG have successfully managed VOD and Pay Per View (PPV) services for major cable and telco operators including Virgin Media in the U.K., SFR in France, Kabel BW and Unity Media in Germany, OTE in Greece, and du in Dubai. The company also launched the first mobile SVOD TV services with Three UK. The service launch will mark the extension of ODG’s reach to 26 platforms in 17 countries, handling one billion VOD transactions per year in 12 different languages.
