NW Systems Group’s RemoteManager end-to-end video monitoring solution has been selected by London based developer CIT which begins work this month on one of London’s largest redevelopments at King’s Reach Tower, South Bank.

RemoteManager’s high resolution video monitoring service is being been used to cover the redevelopment of the site which will take three years. Four floors will be added to the existing tower, increasing its height by 16 metres to 127 metres. The new development will be home to 173 luxury apartments, 370,000 square feet of office space and 72,000 square feet of retail.

NW Systems has used three Mobotix M24M high resolution 3 Mega Pixel surveillance cameras, each fitted with 90 degree lenses. The cameras have been fitted on the roof top of Rennie Court - an adjacent residential tower block, overlooking the site.

All cameras are networked using a secure high speed 3G cellular Broadband connection to the internet. The cameras also hold 32GB of local storage capacity on in-built MicroSD cards providing an element of redundancy for rare occasions where connectivity is lost.

It is anticipated that NW Systems’ RemoteManager service will provide a high resolution time lapse video based on images collected over the course of each phase of construction project.

Steve Riddell, director at CIT said:
“We will use RemoteManager’s video footage to keep all stakeholders abreast of the progress of the multiple phases of redevelopment over the next three years.”

Frank Crouwel, managing director, NW Systems Group, said:
“We are very proud that RemoteManager was selected as the right solution to help CIT keep track of London’s most exciting redevelopment project right now.”

More information and details can be found on the RemoteManager section of NW Systems’ website at http://www.nwsystemsgroup.com/what-we-do/remotemanager-division.php

Remote Manager is a unique, yet tailorable high resolution video monitoring service offering system design, installation, wireless or wired connectivity and full hosting of live video and captured images 24/7/365 for the entire length of any construction or refurbishment project.
