20-January 2010 - Digital Communications Companies in the North West have an opportunity to meet and engage with researchers in the field of Digital Communications through the Digital Pathways event at the Lowry, Salford Quays on Monday 1 Feb, 17:30pm.

The Digital Pathways event will connect you and your business with North West Universities and key funders who can show you how you can make the most of collaborative R&D opportunities.

With a focus on fixed and mobile communications including broadcasting technology, this event will give you the inside track on getting the right support for your business. Whether you need support to innovate, access to funding opportunities or simply to find out what’s available, this is a must-attend event for digital businesses across the North West region.

Exhibitors will include University of Bolton, University of Chester, University of Cumbria, InfoLab21 at Lancaster University, University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Central Lancashire, University of Salford Digital Cluster and The Open University

Funding bodies describing how to access funding to support university collaboration will include: 4iP, Technology Strategy Board, Enterprise Europe Network, Innovation Vouchers, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.

The event will be at the Lowry, Salford Quays on Monday 1 Feb. Doors wil open from 17:30 and will remain open until 20:00. There will be presentations by the different funding participants throughout the evening in a different room to the exhibition so you can attend or continue to network as you wish.

Drinks and canapes will be served . The event is sponsored by the Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network and is FREE to attend.
