Communications services company is “among the best employers”
Lichfield, 03 February, 2010. NextiraOne, Europe’s leading expert in communications services, has been recognised as being among the best employers in the 2010 Best Companies Accreditation. The company achieved “One to Watch” status in the accreditation which aims to identify the best companies in the UK to work for in terms of employee engagement and best practice.
The Best Companies Accreditation was established more than 10 years ago and seeks to recognise excellence in the workplace. Based on staff feedback, it looks at employee engagement as an integral part of a company’s success and growth, and sets a benchmark for all employers. The Best Companies Index is designed to measure workforce engagement by analysing employee’s responses to 70 questions in eight key areas. NextiraOne employees were asked to score their company on factors including Leadership, Well Being, My Manager, My Team and My Company, as well as areas such as Personal Growth, Giving Something Back and Fair Deal.
Jonathan Austin – Founder and CEO of Best Companies - said: “We would like to congratulate NextiraOne on their outstanding achievement. An engaged workforce is essential as organisations move out of the recession and into a more stable economic situation. No doubt many organisations have tackled rapid change this year. But organisations like NextiraOne that have kept on engaging their staff and making sure they are involved in the business will be in a good position for the future. Companies that have achieved accreditation are among the best employers and should be congratulated for their efforts.”
