For the first time ever, a new TV show was made available in the UK the day after its US premiere, with the launch of Nikita via the world’s first ever iPad premiere. Held in a central London warehouse, the iPad premiere was hosted by Danny Wallace (Yes Man) and included a link up to star Xander Berkeley live in Toronto. Tonight sees the second episode of Nikita air stateside and will then be available to download on iTunes from tomorrow.  Action star Maggie Q (Mission Impossible III) takes the title role of Nikita, a trained assassin gone rogue. Directed by Brit Danny Cannon (CSI:NY) and featuring a stellar cast, Nikita is sure to cause a stir on both sides of the Atlantic - see it first in the UK via iTunes!

Gossip Girl
