MS releases Source Code for Tafiti Search Visualization

Microsoft has released the code behind its experimental Tafiti search engine, which uses the following technologies: Silverlight, ASP.NET Ajax, Windows Live ID and Live Search API. Coders and designers alike can now experiment with their own variations of Tafiti (which by the way means "do research" in Swahili). The top 5 designs will get a limited edition t-shirt as a token for their hard work. Tafiti's “search experience” is animated and although more intuitive, it is slower than your average search engine.
