Computers and technology are major parts of our lives today. And when our children become adults, regardless of their career choices, they will likely use and be impacted by the world of technology that seems to change each day. Jill Mohr, Technology Specialist at West Tualatin View Elementary School in Beaverton, is preparing many children for their own futures and having a great time while doing so. “We work with spreadsheets, power point, music, and iMovies. Students take video and do editing and do voice-overs. We do iPod casting at the school. I work closely with the teachers and we integrate technology into the classrooms, into the curriculum . . . I work with kindergartners on up to fifth graders,� she said with ease.
