StartUp Britain is a new campaign by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, launched earlier this year. Designed to celebrate, inspire and accelerate enterprise in the UK, it has the full backing of the Prime Minister, the Chancellor and HM Government. This is a response from the private sector to the Government’s call for an ‘enterprise-led’ recovery.
Hugh Keeble, co-founder and director of Imago Techmedia, the IP EXPO event organiser, said, “Initiatives such as StartUp Britain are invaluable. Right from the start, businesses need to accelerate their growth rapidly and the smart use of technology can be an amazing enabler. That’s why IP EXPO and Technology 4 StartUp Britain Week are so important for UK PLC as a whole. Entrepreneurs and business growth are this country’s lifeblood.”
