The Intrexx Business Integration Adapter for ABACUS Business Software is available as part of the new version of Intrexx 5.2. It enables the quick and easy integration of data from ABACUS ERP solutions into web-based applications and procedures, providing real-time read and write access to all data fields.

Also available is the Intrexx Business Integration Adapter for Microsoft Exchange 2010 (www.intrexx.com/en/business-adapters/microsoft-exchange) which enables all the data and services from Microsoft Exchange 2010 to be incorporated into an organisation’s intranet or portal.

The new Intrexx Business Integration Adapters (www.intrexx.com/en/business-adapters) join the existing range of Adapters for SAP Business Suite, SAP Business One, IBM Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office. The adapters not only provide companies with the ability to web-enable data from existing systems, they also provide mobile access to this data.

This means that field staff are now able to review data while they are out of the office from the company ERP system, for example, to immediately check whether an item is available, and in what quantities. The ability to obtain an electronic authorisation from a line manager so that a customer can be offered a special discount rate during a meeting is another example of the flexibility Intrexx provides – a quality which is becoming more and more business relevant.

Companies can profit immensely from real-time data access via mobile devices. The German system supplier Nölle & Nordhorn, for example, provides their field staff with customer data from SAP on iPhones. The solution was implemented in only four weeks and has already resulted in additional sales of more than 250.000 Euro.
