Recertification recognising Interxion’s continued commitment to delivering highly secure, reliable best-in-class data centres

LONDON 15 September 2011 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE: INXN), a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data centre services, today announced that it has achieved recertification of the internationally recognised ISO 27001 (Information Security and Business Continuity) standard for all 11 of its European country operations.

In addition to ensuring consistent best-in-class service and physical and data security for all customers, the pan-European ISO accreditation reinforces Interxion’s ability to provide a uniform, integrated solution for multi-country customers in 28 data centres in 13 of Europe’s leading business and consumer hubs. Interxion’s Single Master Services Agreement is Europe-wide, meaning that there is no need to renegotiate terms and conditions across countries. There is one single point of contact for account management and one central European Customers Services Centres allowing customers to easily spread geographically across Interxion’s data centre footprint.   

The ISO 27001 audit and certification process focuses on every aspect of the business, including physical infrastructure, site security and access management, personnel capabilities, communications and operations, legal compliance criteria, and back-up and disaster recovery systems.

The certification underlines Interxion’s commitment to preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all the physical and electronic information assets managed by the business. The uptime in Interxion’s Service Level Agreement is 99.999%, and its ultra-secure, modern data centres are built around resilience with multi-layered security including CCTV, mantraps, biometric scanning and 24-hour surveillance. Every Interxion site is also accredited for the BS25999 international business continuity standard.
