London, 22 February, 2012 - Innovative Research, Inc. today announced a new version of its flagship software product TileFlow. The product is an easy-to-use and highly comprehensive software tool for predicting airflow and temperatures in data centres. A pre-release version will be demonstrated at Data Centre World 2012 (February 29 - March 1, Olympia, London).
TileFlow helps users to achieve the optimum cooling performance, save energy, and reduce operating cost and carbon footprint. The product has numerous enhancements, including rack builder, server database, expanded databases of cooling units, Excel import/export, PDF report, and Mark-up mode. These new features significantly expand the applicability of TileFlow and reduce the time and effort involved in simulations.
Dr. Suhas Patankar, president of Innovative Research, Inc. said: "We decided to present TileFlow 5.0 at Data Centre World because the show focuses on the energy efficiency in data centres, a key area where use of TileFlow can make significant impact. A large number of companies throughout the world are already using TileFlow to optimize cooling in their data centres and save energy. Our goal for 2012 is to promote the utility of TileFlow in reducing the energy consumption in data centres in Europe and Asia.”
John Hatcher, Data Centre World conference director said: “It’s great to have Innovative Research, Inc. involved in the show. This year’s Data Centre World is set to become the biggest yet with over 3,000 attendees. With many companies starting to implement cloud computing strategies and the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme coming into effect 2012, it’s great to see that so many of the sector’s leading figures are in attendance to debate these critical issues.”
TileFlow 5.0 will be available in March 2012.
