LONDON – Wednesday 8th December 2010 – ILX Group plc, the global software company delivering innovative Best Practice training solutions, today launched its accredited P3O® Foundation and P3O® Practitioner courses. The P3O® guidance is aligned to OGC's PRINCE2, MSP, and M_o_R and brings together in one place a set of principles, processes and techniques to facilitate effective portfolio, programme and project management. The methodology seeks to help Project Managers establish the enablement, challenge and support structures necessary for successful outcomes.

Using voice, animation and role play activities, the ILX Foundation course takes approximately twelve hours to complete which is equivalent to a three-day workshop. The main body of the course consists of seven lessons which cover the principles, techniques and structure for implementing a Portfolio, Programme and Project Office, including a Centre of Excellence, through to the business case and planning for implementation. The Practitioner qualification course is designed for those responsible for setting up, managing or improving a P3O®.
