... A new accredited multi-media course to take delegates to MSP® Practitioner level without entering the classroom...
LONDON – Tuesday 7th December 2010 – ILX Group plc, the global software company delivering innovative Best Practice training solutions, today launched MSP® Practitioner Plus a special stand alone e-learning package that allows delegates to reach MSP® Foundation and Practitioner level qualifications without having to enter the classroom – and without comprising on the quality of learning.
The ILX Group’s accredited Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) Practitioner Plus course contains all of the training and learning materials delegates need to attain both the Foundation and Practitioner qualifications in MSP®. The Foundation course consists of ten topics, including a mock exam simulator. The Practitioner course is broken into two streams. Stream 1 focuses on the practical understanding and application of the MSP® method. Stream 2 is designed to prepare candidates for the MSP® examination. The learning materials include numerous examples and exercises specifically written for this course, including detailed sessions on Governance and Principles. In addition, the course contains a detailed walkthrough of the MSP® process model, designed to guide students through all aspects of the training.
The ILX course also includes sample Practitioner exam questions along with marking schemes to provide practical exam practice. To help students achieve the best results, the package includes full tutorial support from MSP® trainers, whom students can email or telephone for additional support. The e-learning and paper based exercises for both the Foundation and Practitioner training can be completed in the delegate’s own time. It can take as little as 25 hours to complete the course, enabling the delegate to commence the learning programme and take their exams within 12 months.
Eddie Kilkelly, Chief Operating Officer at ILX Group, commented, “We are thrilled to launch MSP® Practitioner Plus, which we believe meets a real need in the project management training market. Managing Successful Programmes provides a structured yet flexible framework that benefits senior managers, business managers and practitioners at all levels, from project teams through to board-level. It can provide invaluable guidance for organisations seeking to improve their project management capabilities in order to reduce the costs associated with inefficient or failed projects and indeed increase returns.
However, many individuals who could benefit from this training simply cannot afford to take time out of the office to attend a classroom-based course. MSP® Practitioner Plus makes high quality training available to this time-pressured audience at their own convenience.”
