LONDON – Wednesday 15th December 2010 – ILX Group plc, the global software company delivering innovative Best Practice training solutions, today launched its accredited ITIL® Live course. This online training course is facilitated by experienced ITIL® trainers and supported through cutting edge e-learning content to help candidates prepare for the ITIL® Foundation examination.
The ITIL® course is delivered via ILX’s secure online ‘ITIL® Live’ portal. The portal provides access to a ‘personal training plan’ tailored for each delegate, together with targeted resources to support learning, much like a real class room, and also creates a collaborative social learning workspace for course delegates to share knowledge and ideas with fellow students.
The online training modules are run as live interactive sessions, in short 60–90 minute segments over two days. The modules have a clear learning path running throughout, showing student milestones and actions. During the sessions, delegates are able to ask questions, chat with the tutor and gain instant feedback. A full ITIL® Foundation exam simulator is provided in the course programme to help delegates test their understanding and prepare for the formal exam. In addition, the exam fee is included in the cost of ITIL® Live; the exam may be booked whenever delegates are ready, but must be completed within 12 months of purchase.
