Eddie Kilkelly, Chief Operating Officer at ILX Group, commented, “Best practice models are invaluable in the modern business environment. When embedded correctly, best practice helps organisations to manage change, maximise resources, minimise risk and project failure, accelerate performance improvements, leverage the strengths and capabilities of employees and reduce duplication of resource. This is especially beneficial in the current economic environment, when public and private sector organisations need to deliver more projects to higher levels of quality with constrained resources. But to achieve those benefits, organisations must develop their staff so they share a common vocabulary and understanding of how the organisation approaches its activities. Research has shown the benefits of making such an investment; once best practice processes are correctly embedded, the potential savings in terms of operational efficiency, cost management and improvements in the organisation‘s reputation can be significant.”
Attendees visiting ILX at the Best Practice Showcase will be entered into a free prize draw to win an ipad.
