New appointments will drive expansion of CRM and Enterprise divisions
 
Winnersh, 28th May 2010 – Sage (UK) Limited, UK business software and services leader, has today announced the appointment of Carlene Jackson and Bob Anderson as General Managers in its mid market division.  The strategic hires will bolster the company’s senior management team while ensuring it is best placed to meet the more complex business requirements of larger organisations and support the needs of its 20,500 mid-market customers.

Bringing extensive experience in both sales and consulting within the CRM industry, Carlene Jackson has been appointed General Manager of Sage’s newly formed CRM Unit.  Bob Anderson, who has a strong track record in building and growing enterprise software businesses, has been made General Manager of Sage’s Enterprise Unit.

Carlene Jackson brings over 10 years of experience in delivering and selling CRM solutions as well as a strong knowledge of the CRM market, having worked with IBM, Microsoft and Salesforce.com.  Having worked in CRM sales as well as within end user organisations and with business partners, Carlene understands the strategic benefits of CRM and brings a customer centric approach to the role.

Bob Anderson joins Sage from the enterprise software firm Click Commerce.   Having held the role of VP of Operations at Click Commerce and Senior Consultant in Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's Strategy Practice, Bob has extensive experience in managing P&L, budget, sales forecast and strategic planning and will utilise this expertise to drive forward Sage’s Enterprise business.
