Hay Systems Ltd (HSL) are pleased to announce that they have commenced shipments of the HSL Femtocell to customers around the world. The HSL Femtocell is a small device that connects to a broadband Internet router in the home or office and delivers “5-bar” signal to 2G and 3G GSM mobile subscribers for voice, SMS and data.
The HSL Femtocell creates new opportunities for mobile network operators, including improvements to the quality of the subscriber experience through coverage enhancement, the opportunity for new services, lower CAPEX and OPEX, increased operator revenues and cheaper calls for subscribers. The HSL Femtocell has been designed to be inexpensive and quick for mobile operators to deploy and manage, and simple for mobile subscribers to install and use.
