Explores Challenges & Opportunities for Improved efficiency and growth from consolidating legacy broker & insurer systems

LONDON, UK - 19th May, 2011 - Hexaware Technology, a leading global provider of IT and BPO services, today announced its sponsorship and participation in TINtech 2011, the leading technology strategy event exploring the business benefits of technology for the Insurance market.

As a sponsor, Hexaware will be speaking in a workshop session and giving insurers the opportunity to hear about how consolidating legacy systems can achieve greater process efficiency, opportunities for growth and system longevity.

Hexaware has worked extensively with insurers for the past 15 years, offering a complete range of IT and BPO services for Life, P&C and health insurance companies worldwide. The company has delivered end-to-end insurance system implementations to support underwriting, new business processing, policy servicing, claims processing and annuities payouts.

In the workshop session, Amberin Memon, Vice President and Global Head for Insurance, Hexaware Technologies, will address how operating disparate systems are stifling growth and discuss the challenges in achieving process efficiency and integrating platforms to streamline processes.

As part of the workshop, Birgit Kunze, Director of Group Development and IT Organisation, from the insurer AXA Art Versicherung AG and a Hexaware client, will talk about streamlining entire business processes across multiple counties. She will be looking at the business drivers for embarking on the project, looking at AXA’s approach to overcoming the technological challenges, cultural and regulatory considerations and measuring ROI.
