Halcyon Gallery, one of Europe’s Leading Art Galleries, Selects Cyber-Duck to Overhaul its Website

London, March 13th 2009: Cyber-Duck, a multiple award winning interactive media agency (www.cyber-duck.co.uk) has been selected by Halcyon Gallery, one world’s most prestigious art establishments, to completely overhaul its website, with the new website (at www.halcyongallery.com) being launched today, just in time for the much anticipated Apopalyptic exhibition starting this Saturday.

The website overhaul has consisted of Cyber-Duck implementing an enhanced web design within the perimeters of Halcyon Gallery’s existing branding. Cyber-Duck has also worked closely with Halcyon Gallery to develop backend information systems that meet their requirements to easily update their website via a highly intuitive Content Management System (CMS) that enables dynamic displays of content.

Halcyon Gallery, which has 2 major galleries in New Bond Street and Bruton Street, Central London, has displayed work by some of the greatest contemporary artists of our time including Bob Dylan, Eve Arnold, Douglas Hoffman and many other names alongside with Fine Art Masters works of the greatest artists from the 19th and 20th century.

The new website features vibrant photography of both the Galleries and the artwork they house, along with detailed analyses of the work, set in a clean design. Creating a sleek and uncluttered layout was a fundamental element of the website requirements, ensuring that it supports the artwork and does not detract from it.

Eran Akerman, CEO of Halcyon Gallery commented, “we conducted a thorough investigation process to select a leading digital agency that understood our branding objectives, online marketing needs, website requirements and could also deliver first class technical systems. Cyber-Duck’s ability to deliver all of these elements, combined with their impressive track record of clients and solutions, convinced us that they are the right partner for us in 2009 and beyond”.

Danny Bluestone, MD of Cyber-Duck added, “We were delighted to have been selected by Halcyon Gallery. We pride ourselves on being a multi-disciplinary agency that bridges the gap between the latest technologies and artistic creativity; a focus that is once again endorsed by their selection.”
