The Confirmit “Beyond the Horizon” Conference brought together approximately two hundred business leaders and industry visionaries for three days of collaboration, best practices and hands-on market research and feedback management technology demonstrations at the new Confirmit Innovation Lab.

Industry leaders from GfK NOP, Kantar, Best Buy, Ariba, Research Now, Fresh Intelligence, Louis Allen™ Worldwide and Towers Watson highlighted how Confirmit powers market research organisations, customer experience programs, and employee engagement initiatives that create actionable insight to drive business success. Key themes quickly emerged during the three-day event in Las Vegas:
- Unstructured data: Successful market research and real-world feedback programs must include text analytic capabilities that can effectively convert the vast quantity of unstructured data into actionable business insight.
- Holistic view: Impactful voice of the customer initiatives are integrated directly into critical business processes.
- Flexible and innovative design: Effective tactics involve advanced design elements that propel engagement.
Corrine Sandler, CEO of Fresh Intelligence, a leading Market Research (MR) intelligence gathering company, explored how innovation in design will help drive the evolution of consumer engagement. “The future of consumer, customer, and employee engagement in online research relies on continued design advancement,” said Sandler. “As we witness innovation in market research, stakeholders push beyond its traditional confines to drive increased respondent engagement while staying true to the analytical roots of MR. Confirmit customer, Ugam Research Solutions, launched a ground-breaking research tool at the event. Built on Confirmit Flex, EnRAPTURE (Engaging Respondents Active Participation Through the Use of Rich Elements) enables market researchers to easily build interactive and engaging surveys that will drive increased participation. The Confirmit Flex toolkit allows third parties to develop extensions within Confirmit.
Confirmit harnessed its own technology for an on-site delegate survey. The company will use the feedback to shape the agenda of upcoming customer events, including the next conference.
