The U.S. market research firm Gartner placed gateprotect solutions in the Magic Quadrant for UTM Firewall appliances for the SMB market, whereas, Frost & Sullivan, another world’s leading analyst firm, awarded an "Excellence Award" to gateprotect for its security solutions.

gateprotect will be present during GITEX along with Comguard at Hall 2, Stand B2-32, Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai during GITEX Technology Week between 14th October to 18th October 2012, to showcase its version 9.2 of its next-generation firewall.

The already award-winning next generation UTM firewall solution is currently completing the prestigious, internationally recognized EAL4 + certification ("Evaluation Assurance Level 4+" (EAL 4 +) Common Criteria.

For government and enterprise network security administrators around the globe, EAL4+ stands as a key certification. Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) and the EAL 4+ Certification is an International Standard for information technology security certification determining the trustworthiness of security products.
