Framework 7 – Forming a Team & Writing a Proposal Master Class
« Posted: January 22, 2010, 04:31:42 PM »

22 January 2010 - The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network is running a series of one day Master Classes in 2010 focussed on participation in Framework 7. A master class on Forming a Team & Writing a Winning Proposal will be held at the Institute of Directors on January 28 2010.

This free event is sponsored by the Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network.

The topics covered provide a comprehensive view of the main areas that any organisation planning to participate in FP7 should be aware of:
- Taking the right approach to minimise the cost of participation
- Working with the EU Commission on your proposal
- Available support
- Building a team
- Work integration
- Matching roles to partners
- Consortium organisation
- Partner search methods
- Building a proposal
- Proposal section by section view

These Master Classes build on previous events and webinars delivered by the KTN, and will offer an opportunity for in-depth examination of the task of putting together a winning proposal under Framework 7.
Developing a proposal for the EU Commission has lots of parallels with proposals to other funding organisations and even private investors. If your organisation is planning to seek funding to support R&D then you will find this day of great value.

DC-KTN is planning to run a total of 6 Master Classes during 2010 and you are now able to register for the first of these in London on 28th January at the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED. You can register for this event at: http://digital-communications-ktn.org/tinc?key=d95cAHGK&formname=Jan28FormTeam

The Master Class is FREE and will be delivered by Eddie Townsend, our collaboration expert. Eddie has based the material for the workshop on his experience of successful proposal submissions and management in FP6 and FP7.
Eddie has also published articles on the subject of collaboration and the role of collaboration in product innovation.

The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network has been established by an industry-led group of leading players, with funding from the Technology Strategy Board. It seeks to bring competitive advantage to the UK by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing between the users and providers of Digital Communications, and by helping to drive innovation in the sector.

Membership of the Digital Communications KTN is free, and attendees are encouraged to register as members at www.dcktn.org.uk
