Flexiant's Head of Research Projects, Craig Sheridan to present keynote on "Cloud Computing: The SME and Industry Perspective"
Livingston and London, UK - 14 March 2014 - Flexiant will join more than 400 European Internet stakeholders at this year's Future Internet Assembly in Athens from 18-20 March 2014. Flexiant's Head of Research Projects, Craig Sheridan, will share his views in a pre-FIA workshop keynote session "Cloud Computing: The SME and Industry Perspective" on Tuesday 18th March 2014 within the "Future of Cloud Computing" track.
With a focus on service providers and the increasing need for advances in multi-grained elastic provisioning, Sheridan will discuss the impact of the increased industry uptake of cloud computing over the last few years. He will showcase why it has caused an increased demand from end-users and service providers for multi-grained elastic provisioning, resource scaling, interoperability and legacy systems integration. Lastly, he will highlight why this triggers the need for service providers to innovate and differentiate themselves in the market place to provide these services.
Speaking about this year's FIA conference, Sheridan said, "This year, FIA's focus on reshaping the Future Internet infrastructure for innovation is just the sort of focus that Flexiant has always held at the core of its European Research Projects. For Flexiant, we've always kept innovation at the centre of what we do and the opportunity that FIA offers us to be at the heart of discussions about the Future Internet is something we're very excited to take part in."
The annual gathering welcomes more than 400 European Internet stakeholders with individuals and organisations from the top of European science research and industry. Those gathered will spend four days delivering new ideas and sharing views aimed at advancing activities that reshape the Future Internet and maintain European competitiveness in the global marketplace.
