Esendex Ranked As ‘One To Watch’ In Sunday Times Tech Track 100
Follows company’s best ever year and management buy-out by Darwin Private Equity in July
Esendex, a provider of business SMS services, has been named as ‘One to Watch’ in the prestigious 2013 Sunday Times Tech Track 100 report.
The listing follows a hugely successful year for Esendex in which it achieved its best ever revenue figures and completed a management buy-out with Darwin Private Equity in July.
Esendex’s mission-critical application-to-person text messaging services are now used by more than 6,500 businesses around the world to improve communication with their customers and staff.
Tech Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track annually and published in The Sunday Times each September. A mention in the supplement as ‘One to Watch’ is a mark of distinction for successful British companies and previously featured companies have gone on to become household names.
“To be named as a firm to watch out for in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 is a real testament to the hard work that the team have put in” said Esendex CEO Geoff Love. “The past year in particular is the one where Esendex has made a step-change forward. This is in part due to the realisation from firms that SMS is the only ubiquitous messaging platform to cost-effectively communicate with customers and employees, and in part due to Esendex’s best-in-class offering. Esendex has been successful in marketing these benefits to businesses and demonstrating value to existing clients.
“Having been featured in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, Esendex is looking to really kick-on. We have ambitious growth plans, both in the UK and across Europe, and we are confident of our ability to fully realise our ambition to become Europe’s leading business SMS provider” added Geoff Love.
