The award show took place at CeBIT 2010 in Hannover, Germany.

Several hundred guests from various industries, including the IT and telecommunication sector, attended the show where the ‘Initiative Mittelstand’ honored the leading IT innovations of the year for mid-sized businesses. A panel of 80 professors, scientists, and journalists as well as industry and IT experts evaluated the submitted solutions against such criteria as innovation, practical relevance and suitability for medium-sized businesses.
