New SuiteApp enhances customer and business interactions
11 January 2012: Dialogue Communications, a leading specialist in global mobile messaging solutions, today announced the availability of its two-way SMS SuiteApp for NetSuite, built on the NetSuite SuiteCloud Computing Platform. The Dialogue SMS SuiteApp provides NetSuite customers with an additional messaging channel for instant, efficient and effective two-way communication. This capability allows customers to enhance their business and customer interaction while increasing responsiveness.
NetSuite’s SuiteCloud is a comprehensive offering of cloud-based products, development tools, and services designed to help customers and commercial software developers take advantage of the significant economic benefits of cloud computing. The complete SuiteCloud includes NetSuite’s multi-tenant, always-on SaaS infrastructure and the NetSuite business suite of applications which cover accounting, enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and e-commerce.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of the two-way SMS SuiteApp, delivering rapid, high-quality and reliable SMS,” said Hugh Spear, Dialogue’s CEO. “SMS is an important tool in today’s fast-paced world, where people need and want instant communication. NetSuite customers can now reap the benefits by implementing the SMS SuiteApp, and enhancing users’ communication capabilities through enhanced interaction and increased responsiveness.”
Working with NetSuite
The Dialogue SMS for NetSuite SuiteApp is tightly integrated with NetSuite, allowing users to send personalised and targeted SMS messages to mobile users across the globe through a simple SMS user interface from within their NetSuite account. The two-way functionality gives the mobile users the option of responding by SMS if required.
Mobile communications are growing at a phenomenal rate with latest figures showing that 200,000 texts are sent worldwide every second[1]. Over 98 per cent are opened[2] and 90 per cent of these are read within three minutes of receiving them. There were 6.1 trillion text messages sent in 2010 alone[3], triple the amount sent in 2007[4]. These figures have driven the demand for Dialogue’s SMS SuiteApp and the appeal for organisations to communicate through SMS messaging.
“Dialogue has the technical expertise needed to build a NetSuite application that caters to our customers’ needs and seamlessly integrates with NetSuite," said Guido Haarmans, Vice President of Developer Programs and Business Development at NetSuite. "The SMS SuiteApp is a valuable communication tool for our customers, helping them to improve their communication and business capabilities.”
With over 16 years of industry knowledge and experience, Dialogue has offices in Australia, UK, South Africa, Singapore and USA and delivers tens of millions of messages successfully for thousands of companies on a monthly basis across the globe. It uses a range of SMS APIs to enable developers to build in their own SMS integrations as well as offering its own specialised technology to help customers benefit from using SMS messaging. Dialogue works with market leaders across the world to integrate effective two-way SMS services with other software applications.
