The Cordys platform is praised for its solid platform and private cloud provisioning emphasis

Putten, The Netherlands, March 12, 2013 – Cordys, a leading provider of Platform as a Service and Business Process Management announced that it has been named as a "Strong Performer" in the “The Forrester Wave™: BPM Suites, Q1 2013” report. Cordys is among a group of ten companies that Forrester Research, Inc. evaluated in the report.

Forrester’s Wave report assessed these top BPM Suites in a 59-criteria evaluation of their strategy, current offerings, and market presence. The report is based on an analysis of data from vendor surveys, product demos and customer reference calls.

In its report, Forrester commented that Cordys has a solid platform for rapidly building and deploying business process solutions. Cordys is one of the few vendors evaluated that can support building a single process model that incorporates both [traditional processes and dynamic case models] into a single process solution.

Forrester cited Cordys as an ideal solution for teams looking to run multiple BPM projects in parallel across different regions or business units. This is further supported by the Cordys platform architecture. As the report noted, "the vendor’s BPM suite environment supports multitenant configuration, allowing customers to quickly provision and manage multiple process instances through a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) configuration.”

The report also noted that Cordys offers an operational intelligence component allowing non-technical users to build process intelligence applications that sit on top of business data, including big data sources.

“We are pleased to see Forrester recognize our solid platform and private cloud provisioning offering”, said Art Landro, Chief Executive Officer at Cordys. "We are experiencing a lot of market traction with enterprises, service providers and ISVs for our unique cloud propositions regarding BPM, Cloud Provisioning and Platform as a Service and we are proud to get what is, in our opinion, confirmation of both our platform vision and actual platform delivery,” said Landro. “We feel that the inclusion of Cordys in the BPM Forrester Wave™ report, especially with the mention of our cloud capabilities, underscores the strong global position that Cordys is taking in the BPM market."
