New technology provides additional method of including Flash objects in Confirmit surveys
New York, NY and Oslo, Norway – June 23rd, 2010: Confirmit users can now make their research and feedback surveys more engaging by including sophisticated Flash components using SurveyFlashTools, a new technology launched by market research IT and operations company Annik.
SurveyFlashTools reduces the cost and amount of survey design work involved in embedding Flash objects into surveys, and requires no knowledge of Flash programming. It offers a wide portfolio of tools and questions types for survey designers to browse, customize, and then embed into surveys, in just a few clicks.
Pat Molloy, Chief Strategy Officer at Confirmit, commented: “Respondent engagement is now a major issue with online surveys. Tools that can make surveys more appealing and increase response rates are therefore a real advantage for our clients, helping them to differentiate themselves in an increasingly challenging market.”
Rahul Sahgal, Chief Executive Officer at Annik, added: “Many researchers have discovered that the appropriate usage of engaging Flash can add real value to their surveys, not least in terms of increased completion rates. However, Flash has often meant delays to timings and high associated costs. SurveyFlashTools aims to change this trade off and will make Flash more accessible on a much broader range of projects, even with the lowest budgets or the tightest deadlines.”
SurveyFlashTools has no development costs, so users pay as little as $30 for Flash usage on a 300 sample survey. With new releases planned regularly, current Flash components include simple sliders, text highlighters, multimedia players and advanced rating tools.
Molloy concludes: “Confirmit has supported the use of Flash for some time now, but we are really delighted to encourage the use of this streamlined and elegant mechanism created by Annik. We have an ongoing development stream to continually enhance and improve the respondent experience, and we are delighted to be joined by Annik in this effort.”
