…Partnership results in its first joint client to provide accurate carbon reporting and carbon reduction strategies…

LONDON – Tuesday 22nd March 2011 - Greenstone Carbon Management, the global specialist carbon solutions company, has announced a partnership with Cleaner Climate, a specialist climate change consultancy, to enable organisations across South Africa to measure, manage and report their carbon emissions from energy, travel, freight, waste and water emission sources, using Greenstone's online carbon management solution, Acco2unt.  Cleaner Climate will then work with the data provided by Greenstone's Acco2unt tool to help clients develop strategies to reduce their emissions.  With an accurate baseline carbon footprint, energy and emissions reduction initiatives can be easily identified, resulting in emissions and cost savings.  Clients can then choose to offset their remaining emissions with CDM* or VCS** carbon credits from Cleaner Climate's project portfolio. The partnership has already resulted in a joint contract with corporate travel company HRG Rennies.
