London – 1st June 2010 – BravoSolution, the international leader in Supply Management software and services, today announces the launch of the BravoSolution sid4health updater service, a new application that will enable suppliers to the NHS to import their existing sid4health profile information into BravoSolution NHS eSourcing portals without having to re-key any of their responses.

sid4health is the UK’s official NHS supplier information database, containing pre-qualification information that is shared amongst all purchasing organisations within the NHS. Available to these organisations free of charge, this web-based centralised platform is designed to significantly reduce processing costs and facilitate procurement processes by allowing the management and transfer of supplier profile data to NHS eProcurement systems.

By reducing the amount of time and information suppliers need to submit for each tender they pursue, the BravoSolution sid4health updater service will significantly reduce the cost of sale, enabling suppliers to pass on additional savings to the NHS. The procurement community will also benefit from a standardised process and approach to market.

The BravoSolution sid4health updater service will be available from the end of April.
