London, UK, October 1st, 2012 - Twenty exciting, new high tech investment opportunities have been confirmed for the SETsquared Partnership’s 9th annual Investment Showcase on Thursday 18th October. Spanning a diverse range of sectors including energy generation, farming, enterprise software, clean technology, mobile apps and e-commerce, this year’s line-up of companies is better than ever.
The businesses are pitching for investment of between £250,000 and £5 million each from venture capitalists, angel investors and wealthy individuals. Over the past eight years participants have raised over £120 million in investment.
The Investment Showcase, held at One Great George Street, London, starts at 8am with an informal breakfast. The event includes ten minute investor pitches from eight of the companies attending. All twenty companies have exhibition stands that will be open throughout the morning, to allow potential investors to engage in direct discussions with them. Professor Sir Steve Smith, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, University of Exeter will also be speaking at the event.
