Avery Brand&Print helps SMEs stand out from the crowd
« Posted: August 30, 2011, 09:26:00 PM »

Office products company Avery has launched an innovative online service that helps SMEs improve their branding and presentation.

Avery Brand&Print, at www.averybrandandprint.co.uk, enables businesses to design their own professional quality presentation materials for pitch meetings, responses to tenders and other marketing activities.

Woman at WorkIt offers a wide range of design-your-own products to brand company collateral such as custom binders, business cards and laptop and mobile phone skins.

Fiona Mills, Director of Business Development for Avery Brand&Print, said: “First impressions are absolutely crucial in the business world and given the challenging financial situation faced by many SMEs, now is an excellent time to revisit marketing collateral and ensure it really projects your business and the image you want to portray.

“Avery Brand&Print can help you project a memorable and effective brand image, present yourself at meetings and events to win business and succeed through differentiating your company from competitors.”

The launch comes as separate surveys by the Federation of Small Businesses and the Enterprise Trends Index both show it is more vital than ever to make the right impression when trying to win new business.

Almost half of the 1,700 respondents (46%) to the FSB survey highlighted the importance of marketing communications while six out of ten firms in the Enterprise Trends Index have sought to overcome rising overheads by going out to proactively win new contracts.

Avery Brand&Print laptop skins are suitable for virtually all makes and sizes of laptop. The self-adhesive skin, in a gloss or satin finish, personalises and protects the lid making it a stand-out feature when using a laptop for pitch presentations.

Businesses also choose Avery Brand&Print to customise A4 and A5 ring binders for use during meetings or as ‘leave behinds’. There is no minimum order quantity and binders can easily have extra pockets for branded business cards, CDs and DVDs.

Avery Brand&Print business cards are premium quality 300 gsm cards which can be used single- or double-sided. They come in packs of 100 with a protective cover that stops any creasing.

The FSB’s ‘Voice of Small Business' survey panel includes 1,700 small businesses. In the latest survey, almost half (46%) said that sales, marketing and PR training for themselves would help their business to develop or grow.

The Enterprise Trends Index compiles the responses of over 550 business owners to determine the financial and growth prospects for UK businesses. The latest index, tracking the six months to April 2011, found that 58% of respondents were countering higher operating costs by winning new contracts.
