London – May 18, 2010 – Attenda Limited, the Always On Managed Services company, today announced that it has signed a three year contract with Traffic Solutions for the provision of an agile, scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform for the delivery of its Quality Assurance Management System (ITSAM) using a Cloud SaaS model.

Traffic Solutions, founded in 2003, is a specialist in traffic and highway engineering, offering turnkey packages to clients from inception to commissioning. The business is fast growing in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, offering a full range of design services from travel plans, wayfinding, traffic signals, junctions and developer lead schemes, to safety auditing, validations and project management. The company prides itself on innovation and quality, providing its clients with world-leading technologies and products.

The Attenda solution comprises numerous virtual servers within the Attenda Cloud Platform, Attenda RTI, supporting Traffic Solutions’ ITSAM which is used for the storage and approvals management of design and configuration documents for traffic signals, delivered to local authority clients using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Attenda is hosting and managing the ITSAM solution which engineers communicate with using PDAs or laptops. The solution leverages Microsoft technologies, available to Traffic Solutions via the Microsoft BizSpark program.

Attenda has worked closely with Rave Technologies, the application developer, to develop the ITSAM system. The close relationship between Attenda and Rave Technologies provides a seamless service to Traffic Solution’s clients, from hosting and managed services through to application support.

The SaaS solution is a new venture for Traffic Solutions, targeted at UK local authorities, with the high availability, 24 x 7 service levels that Attenda can provide, being an essential and integral part of the SaaS ITSAM solution delivery.
