Switzerland-based agricultural/softs trading firm Soyuz Commodities SA is deploying the AspectCTRM trading and risk management platform from Aspect Enterprise Solutions in a major deal announced today. The contract marks yet one more significant win for Aspect in the broader commodities sector.

Principally trading in grains and oilseeds, Soyuz, with headquarters in Lausanne, has a developing international presence including facilities at key Black Sea ports and an expanding infrastructure in the Russian Far East. The company anticipates significant growth in the future.

Aspect’s experience and track record in managing rail car movements played an important part in its selection by Soyuz, as did the softs functionality included as standard with its CTRM/ETRM solution. This functionality is teamed with analytics and key market data including NYMEX, CBOT, Dow Jones AgriWire and Forex data.
