Paris, France and Washington, D.C. - FEBRUARY 16, 2011 - Mentum®, a global leader in RF software planning solutions, and  Alvarion Ltd., the world’s leading provider of 4G networks in the Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) market, today announced they entered into an agreement for the purchase and supply of a complete network planning, deployment, and optimization solution from Mentum. Mentum Planet’s unmatched WiMAX™ planning features will provide Alvarion with the advanced capabilities it requires to deploy its first class 4G and BWA solutions throughout the world.

Mentum's 4G-ready next generation planning software will enable Alvarion to accurately and efficiently plan networks for its end users leading to better coverage and enhanced end-user experience. The supply agreement includes cooperation and collaboration with mutual advanced feature development and global strategic cooperation.
