Accumulate's security technology for mobile financial services selected as hottest innovation in Sweden by the public agency Swedish Institute

Stockholm, Sweden – February 9, 2011. Sweden is world class in innovation. To further strengthen the knowledge on this, the public agency Swedish Institute (SI) will start a worldwide tour this autumn. The tour will have an exhibition displaying 20 of Sweden's hottest innovations. Accumulate’s technology is one of eight selected innovations in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Accumulate’s technology is used in today’s mobile financial services solutions and has attracted great interest around the world. With its patented technology and processes and the company's mobile security platform Mobile Everywhere (ME), highest security and ease of use is combined with a unique flexibility for adding innovative services in the mobile. Accumulate ME supports all mobile platforms.

Through an extensive selection process, 20 of Sweden’s most interesting innovations were selected. Together with a number of research innovations, which provides insight into the future, they show how Swedish spirit of innovation creates the conditions for international competitiveness. In addition to the innovations in ICT the selected innovations are in the areas of life science, environmental technology, and gaming and entertainment.

The exhibition will have its premiere in Silicon Valley, USA this autumn and will then tour around the world in close cooperation with local Swedish Embassy’s and local partners. A comprehensive program tailored to each city and country will be linked to the exhibition.
