February 9th 2012 - The second edition of National Electronics Week SA is already looking like it will exceed the previous edition, focussing on the whole electronics process this event brings together an array of exhibiting companies with products spanning from design to final distribution. Organised by New Events Ltd – who also run National Electronics Week UK and South Africa and supported by ADEC and The SMART Group this event brings together local knowledge with a global outlook.

Running in Exhibition 2 of the Sandton Convention Centre from 13th – 14th March National Electronics Week offers visitors a wealth of business opportunities, whether it is to network with existing contacts or to source new products or suppliers this event is well worth taking the time out of the office. The exhibitor list is host to national companies and also boasts international exhibitors and products. There will be new launches, live demonstrations, webinars and 2 full seminar programmes which are free to attend.

The seminar programmes are designed to suit all, covering key industry topics and offering advice and techniques to improve current processes and work practices. Themes include LED, lead free processes, wireless communications, smart grip applications and more – for a full list of these programmes visit http://www.new-expo.co.uk/SA2012seminars.asp

With an International Exhibitor list from UK, Germany, USA, France, Italy, India as well as the most comprehensive gathering of South African suppliers and distributors – National Electronics Week South Africa is a not to be missed event. And as in 2010 the UK Trade and Investment will be supporting a UK Pavilion at the event bringing around 30 companies to the show, the last event proved very successful and business was done at the show and partnerships were forged which has meant new products are now sold directly in South Africa.

National Electronics Week offers a great platform for anyone who works or is planning to get involved in the electronics sector, the exhibitor list brings together a mix of internationally recognised brands and innovative companies with exciting new products – companies include – Arrow, TTI, Mouser, Panasonic, Future Electronics, Mydata, DEK Printing, Nordson Dage, Assembleon, EDA, Asic, Nordson Yestech, Afrisol, Truth Electronics, EVS, Cyberoptics, Purex, Mykaytronics, Allan McKinnon, Tellumat, Cirtech, Hamamatsu, Concillium Technologies and many more.

With so much to do at National Electronics Week the event has placed itself ideally in the heart of the regions business, hotel and entertainment district. So, once the show is finished Sandton offers the perfect location to have meetings, drinks and continue building new business relationships. Sandton Convention Centre has lots of parking around it but also benefits from the Gautrain station within walking distance. This gives easy access into Sandton if you choose not to drive and is great if coming from the airport.

Commenting on the show Event Director Claire Saunders says “We are delighted to be back in South Africa and are looking forward to another great event. Since the last show the world has suffered a tough economic time but I am pleased to say that things seem to now be moving in the right direction again. South Africa has developed an established, diversified manufacturing base that has shown its resilience and potential to compete in the global economy. The electronics industry here has repeatedly proved itself in terms of world-class innovation and production and we are pleased to be able to support this sector”.

She finishes by saying “Pre-registration for this event is free and you can register now at www.new-expo.co.uk/saregister  - we hope you make the most of this opportunity and look forward to seeing you at Sandton Convention Centre from 13th – 14th March.”

NEW:SA 2012 will take place on 13th – 14th March 2012 in Exhibition 2 at the Sandton Convention Centre Johannesburg.
