Flash Networks Expands Presence in Asia Pacific in response to increased demand for Mobile Internet

Hong Kong, 4th December 2007 – Flash Networks, a leading provider of mobile Internet Quality of Experience (QoE) solutions, today announced that that its business and revenues from Asia-Pacific are poised to grow as a result of adding six new distributors covering seven countries to support its growing installed base and over a dozen trials in the region since January 2007.

As a result of the recent expansion Flash Networks is now able to provide local sales and support services throughout Asia Pacific for mobile Internet solutions that enable fast, smooth, and easy navigation while browsing the Internet using laptops and handheld mobile devices.  Flash Networks’ customers in Asia include Huawei in China (TBC),  Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan, Optus (TBC) and Telering in Australia and Telkomsel in Indonesia.

According to Frost & Sullivan, data revenues for mobile operators in Asia Pacific between 2003 and 2006 have increased by 219% percent and are estimated to reach US$22.45 billion at the end of 2007. This has been primarily driven by greater 3G coverage and deployment, a focus on the expanding regional subscriber base, the declining cost of advanced multimedia handsets, and the competition to secure a continuous stream of content through partnerships.

In October, Flash Networks received the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Award for Product of the Year in the European mobile Internet platform and services market. The Frost & Sullivan Product of the Year Award is presented each year to the company demonstrating excellence in new product and technologies within their industry.

"We are committed to the Asia Pacific market and we are proud to collaborate with such an impressive network of partners to respond to the growing demand for the mobile data in this region,” commented Liam Galin President and CEO of Flash Networks.  “We have succeeded in integrating our new selling channels quickly while enabling our customers to receive consistent standards of service and support wherever they are located."

As part of their expanded activities in Asia Pacific, Flash Networks is sponsoring the Mobility World Congress & Exhibition taking place from 4-6 December, 2007 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.  Flash Networks will be presenting on December 6th, their future vision for Mobile TV designed to suit the mobile lifestyle.  In its 12th year, The Mobility World Congress, previously 3G World Congress, is Asia's largest industry gathering of the world's leading telecom companies in the high growth and dynamic mobile communications market.
